Yessiree, Bob, a national assurance program for eggs will be of absolutely no comfort to all of those people who have long since decided to buy their eggs either in the US, or from a local Amish farmer.

In addition, I expect all the hypocritical wretches on this site who claim that supply management isn't "subsidized" will come out of their anonymous bunkers to demand that this subsidy be given back.

Just all the more reason why supply management is not well-liked and will not be missed.
