I suggest for some good reading that you all read the 4th in term order the NFU received yesterday from the Tribunal.
TheTribunal will now see they had national employees signing the provincial checks and that they have not had any service agreements or fee for service situations arrangements in place. they have simply just shipped off $100,000's of dollars year after year to the western office, My self and 3 other directors resigned because we told the the rest of the Ontario NFU board that what was going on was not proper or even legal and we even had a letter from well known lawyer Donald Good, confirming what we were telling them, but they didn't care and they were not going to let us stop their money train west. NFU members in Ontario account for 70% of all the NFU members in Canada and yet they allowed the tail to wag the dog. Had the board members who had been Loyal to the National Organization just simply agreed that things had not been done right in the past none of this would have been necessary and we as a complete board could have worked to together to correct the problems and worked towards being compliant and a successful organization, instead the NFU has wasted their members time and money. when they should have been working, to represent the needs of Ontario farmers, Shame on you NFU Elite, who for far to many years ran the show from behind scenes.

folks - Sean and at Better Farming - you must remember the libel and slander standards are applicable in the context of comments made regarding story lines should there be names or information that, to date, is inflammatory. Just trying to help before NFU decides legal action will make more money for them via a lawsuit than awaiting the Tribunal word that they can no longer operate in Ontario. Oh, and Sean, spelling. Makes you slightly more credible in the future for farm leadership.

Editor's note: The comment in question has modified.

Miss Slater cant understand what the issues are that are stopping the NFU from regaining their accreditation ,did she really say that ? Because any one with half an ounce of understanding could see in flash the issues that are stopping them.
