Processor wants say in new DFO organic milk policy

Canadian ag Minister, Gerry Ritz, fell all over himself to give western farmers the ability to sell their wheat to whoever they wanted, an ability still staunchly denied to Ontario's organic milk producers, especially those producers who want to see their dairy processing facility succeed.

Single desk selling always was stupid, stupid, stupid and one by one, everbody else from hog farmers to wheat growers has relegated it to the well-deserved scrap heap, yet the DFO politburo still pretends this is the 1950s and values the cult of mediocrity above all else.

What's worse is that DFO sees no value to time whatsoever in that they seem to be declaring that they'd rather do things right than do them hastily - in that case, they should just get out of the way and let the market do the job that markets do best - allocating product.
