One thing to note with this story is the fact that buried down in the story is reference to results from a poll conducted by anti neonic groups . Now one would have to think that the reporter or the editor(s) at Better Farming would have thought it would be best to print the survey or the questions asked so that the farming community would then see if or how the questions were scripted and leading for predetermined answers . We all know how negative news sells . It really looks like this agriculture publication is also on the anti agriculture side of the fence !

The first story is based on scientific research and a possible scientific solution to reduce or eliminate some bee deaths. Other scientific solutions for the vario mite and resulting virus problems may also be in the works.
The second separate news item is an opinion poll survey based on an emotional perception spread by the media that that bees are declining in Ontario which is completely opposite to what the latest scientific data set from Stats Canada states. Perhaps in all fairness, BF had best do a story on the Stats Canada bee data set.
