Your articles on the lamb industry continue to be very humorous. These guys from the Value Chain Management Centre really live in a make believe world. Maybe we should all get on board their bandwagon and make the sheep industry as efficient as the hog industry! Oh where are hog farmers today?

There are to many breeds of ssheep in Canada that do not produce good carcases.
Most large producers could improve their product by using data before they purchase rams for their flocks.

Canadian Lamb Producers have a new orginization to help promote awareness and develop the canadian lamb market.

No farmers can afford to underwrite the cost of food production .Produce a good product and sell a profitable price and lamb production will go up .
