Market report for Thursday May 16, 2013

Global markets are largely unchanged overnight, despite an unexpected drop in the US cost of living. It decreased .4% - the largest decrease since December 2008.
 
Crops:
Crops are higher across the board, led by soybeans. Yesterday, China ordered 171,000 tonnes of new crop soybeans and this helped boost expectations for demand.
 
Livestock:
Beef cattle prices have continues upward momentum in early trading after Monday set record prices for wholesale choice-grade beef.
