In the story entitled “Roundup Ready 1 rarity in this year’s seed lineup” in the March 2012 issue of Better Farming, Syngenta Canada would like to clarify the following:
Growers who wish to purchase Syngenta NK® Roundup Ready® 1 soybean seed varieties S27-C4 or S00-W3 are required to sign the Syngenta Variety Agreement with their retailer, prior to acceptance of the seed, and to respect the terms for the planting of a single commercial soybean crop. Syngenta continues to focus on offering growers varieties best suited for localized needs. To that end, S27-C4 is a proven defensive variety against soybean cyst nematode and a good yielder. S00-W3 provides a well adapted agronomic package and delivers as a solid yield performer for the short season growing areas.
