IF a new terminal is built we need to have plenty of parking for trucks a good driver lounge and showers and plugins for 50 trucks and parking for 100 trucks and we need the gov to help with financing with 10 year interest free loans for 40% of the cost in second position

Showers? You thinking this food is so fresh the driver producers have no time to shower?

Plugins of 50 trucks? I expect you mean cold weather plugins. You sure? The hottest item there will be snoflakes.

Lets start with a trial summer market with longer term vision. The St Jacobs market and others are a success. The last thing agriculture needs is a monument to failure

this food terminal would be for locally produced food ....not imported food like what comes into toronto terminal..............there wouldn't be the need for all the extras that you are talking about ....just an efficiently built and working building.

80% of the food in toronto food terminal comes over 300 km buyers will not buy from from more than one terminal need to 50% local target less than 300km with local food clearly marked.

yes a small summer terminal for a trial would work but that is not full food terminal we have some of those now across the province. If you are trying to sell green house produce year round in the terminal that is a different story stephen webster
