Global markets are trading lower as investors focus on soft US retail sales data released this morning – March figures show the largest decline in 9 months
Crops:
Crops are trading higher this morning – and the latest US drought monitor map conditions, coupled with unseasonably chilly weather means planting delay concerns for US corn and wheat , further potential crop damage for winter wheat and continued dry conditions for the main US crop region. Russian wheat crop is also reported to be suffering weather damage.
Livestock:
Livestock futures are unchanged on very light volumes
