Kenilworth-area sheep producer Lorne Small is the new president of the Christian Farmers Federation of Ontario.
He was elected to the position at the federation’s annual convention in Waterloo Wednesday. He replaces Henry Stevens, a broiler producer from Palmerston, who didn’t seek reelection.
Joining Small on the federation’s executive board are vice presidents Ted van den Hurk of Stayner and Gerald Poechman of Hanover. The four new directors on the board are: Clarence Nywening of Chatham-Kent, John Van Dyk of Perth, Richard Blyleven of Haldimand-Norfork, and Bethanee Jensen of Huron County. Stevens will serve as past president. BF
