Photos of Canadian farmers figure in Pennsylvania campaign Tuesday, March 4, 2014 The home page of Governor Tom Corbett's campaign website proudly states that "Pennsylvania's Farm Families Endorse Governor Tom Corbett in 2014." It turns out some of those "Pennsylvania farm families" are Canadian. Politics PA reports that some of the images on Corbett's website are actually stock photos of Canadian farmers taken by Living Images Photography, based in Alberta. The faux pas is seasoned by a healthy dash of irony: in 2012, after a group called American Working Families launched attack ads against Governor Corbett, a Corbett spokesman called them out for their Facebook page cover photo, which turned out to be a stock photo taken by a Toronto photographer featuring several Canadian models. Corbett's party is shrugging the gaffe off, but his opponents love it. One commenter on the Politics PA article quips, "Corbett's obsession with outsourcing isn't limited to his agenda!"
