Livestock farmer appointed to Agricorp board Friday, June 22, 2012 by SUSAN MANNOntario’s Lieutenant Governor in Council has appointed Little Britain-area crop and livestock farmer Harry Stoddart to the Agricorp board of directors.His term began May 30 and ends on May 29, 2015. Stephanie Charest, Agricorp spokesperson, says Stoddart has two decades of experience owning and operating his own crop and livestock operation. He also has 14 years of experience as a management consultant.The board is responsible for the overall performance of Agricorp. The board and its committees typically meet quarterly or as required by business demands and have one annual strategic planning session. The board is accountable to the Ontario agriculture minister, through the chair, for setting objectives and strategic direction including the three-year strategic plan for Agricorp.The board’s chair is Larry Skinner, of Listowel, a former chair of Ontario Pork’s board while the vice chair is David Epp of Leamington, a former chair of the Ontario Processing Vegetable Growers board.
