More delays in Pigeon King case

A lawyer for Pigeon King International founder Arlan Galbraith appeared in a Kitchener’s Frederick Street courtroom on Wednesday and asked Justice of the Peace Eileen Walker for a court date of Dec. 28. 

Paul Williams said Crown Attorney Lynn Robinson was in agreement to move the date from the previously agreed upon Dec. 21. 

Williams said there had been “several pre-trial” meetings.

Galbraith was charged in December 2010 with one count of fraud over $5,000 and four counts under the Bankruptcy Act. His company sold breeding pairs of pigeons to farmers and bought back young birds at high prices. BF
