It is interesting when you talk to say an experienced farm writer about as an example the insurance plan RMP for grain farmers they think farmers pay the premium but get it back when the farmer gets a claim, they dont realize how expensive the premium total per year can be.

When you quiz these people on many things important to stories, you ask,.... are they writing blindly? Are they getting the important details correct?

Is the best of journalism written for and about farmers across Canada giving measurable useful results for farmers betterment or is it just constant puff and stuff sound good filler to sell copy and advertisement?
