Biofuels industry a bright spot in world economy: report

Baker ignores the basic economic truth which is that as long as bio-fuels are subsidized and/or mandated, they will always be net-negative - meaning that the so-called "bright-spot" will last only as long as subsidies keep it bright.

Baker also ignores the basic economic truth which is that good policy doesn't pit farmers against one another, yet bio-fuels, particularly corn ethanol, does just exactly that.
