Snowfall aided animals’ escape

Comments

A number of years ago, a similar thing happened in this area of Western Ontario. The difference was that the boars escaped in late summer, and by the time deer hunting season came along, they were wild enough, and hungry enough, to be afraid of nothing, and nobody, especially deer hunters who were invading their teritory looking for deer.

The odd thing is that while only 10 escaped, the deer hunting community claims to have shot 18.

Odd isn't it,a man is fined when his boars escape, but, the MNR release hundreds of elk in the North Hastings area to destroy fences, crops, and stored feed and thats O.K.? talk about your double standard
WOW!
