Canada’s ag minister urges U.S. to reconsider labeling law

Proponents of COOL will argue that US consumers (and voters) have a right to know the origin of their food, especially with BSE still fresh in their minds. According to a CBC report there are a majority of Canadians that feel the same way and wonder why we don't do the same labeling?

Likely because that would be the simple and logical thing to do .
The KISS theory seems to get lost in all the paper shuffling with Gov .
Would it be that hard to follow the US lead and treat them the same here as we get there ! But then they never had BSE . Right !!
