What about the Cod that claims to be Canadian - but was caught in China, and we only did the processing in Canada?

Why shouldn't American's (and Canadian's) know where their food was raised, slaughtered and processed?

Rural Canada = Anti-Innovation.

If you did a good job raising animals, people would flock to Canadian raised beef. I wouldn't want Mexican or American meat.

I presume the American owners of the slaughterhouses are the ones really against this bill.
