There is little sun in Environment Canada's forecast for the next week in most of southern Ontario and there are several media reports of farmers growing concerned about their corn crop.
Some have said that switching to a faster maturing corn variety will be the answer to beating the lousy spring weather. Others propose replacing corn acres with soybeans.
Meanwhile, in northern Ontario, sun and warm temperatures dominate the coming week's forecast.
What are you doing to cope with this spring's weather and get your crops into the ground?

Got corn planted some waterloged ,Waiting for lakes to dry up to plant soyabeans hopefully this year.
Corn is all planted and up but can't wait to start with soybeans. Sandy soil means we can start a little sooner.
climb in the tractor when the sun shines and dont get out till it rains.
