Steven Del Duca, MPP for Vaughan, echoes the importance of investments like these.
“These jobs are great news for East Garafraxa, and Jaylor’s continued growth is excellent news for the province as a whole,” he said in the release.
“Jaylor is a rural Ontario success story - I’m proud our government is making investments like these that will help expand manufacturing and support the agri-food sector.”
Jake Tamminga, president of Jaylor, expressed his thoughts on the investment.
“Our partnership with the Ontario government has helped us grow our international presence and create more jobs in our community,” he said in the release. “We are dedicated to delivering high quality TMR mixers to our customers around the world, contributing to more efficient cattle farming.”
The Province is investing $207,500 from the Southwestern Ontario Development Fund for this expansion, which is expected to be completed by early 2017.
