If Joan Carter is so sure this hole thing wasn’t a scam, and Arlan did have a marketing plan, and the plans for the processing plant was real, then why on earth isn’t Arlan helping us get this market off the ground? Why is he running from us?

Here is a suggestion to Arlan, prove to us that you are not a crook by helping us getting this marketing off the ground, let’s see the plans you have, and the market research you must have done. Help us, we know PKI is bankrupt, so don’t worry about us holding you to the contracts, just help us by giving us the information you have on marketing these birds. You don’t even have to talk to us, just mail the information to Ken Wagler, you know his address. But you won’t, will you? No, You had no plans did you? If you had the plans, and are the person Joan Carter says you are, then you would already have done that.

You took us all desperate farmers for a bunch of stool pigeons, and we fell for it. I hope you rot in hell Arlan. Joan Carter says in her letter how she doesn’t regret knowing you, well Arlan, I on the other hand regret the day I heard of you.

My friend I could not have said it better myself.
Thanks a concerned individual

Arlan, When I read about the mess you've left behind for everyone to deal with, and not bother to contact anyone to offer any kind of help, nor apologize for anything that you've done, it's a shame. You should be ashamed for what you've done. You've pretty much put the blame on everyone and everything but yourself. You are also responsible for this mess. You saw an opportnity for a way out, and you took it. Then left everyone else to deal with it. Why aren't you in front a camera talking to the media?? You loved the attention before - so why not come out of hiding and HELP these people out!!!!

You seem to be putting the blame on someone else besides yourself too. When Arlan came to you with this idea, all you saw was the dollar signs. You never even bothered to do any research to see if it was a viable scheme or not. You had the choice to say no when he offered you the deal, but you thought YOU could make a lot of money.
Isn't that how these guys with pyramid schemes operate?
I don't really feel that sorry for you. If you had done any research at all before you invested a lot of money you would have realized that $50 per bird offspring was totally unrealistic. When was the last time you paid $50 for a chicken at the grocery store.
Perhaps you should put the blame where it really belongs.

Thank you Better Farming. Where else can a person look to find updated information on this story? It is amazing that mainline media are strangely quiet about this.

In fact if one reviews all the articles done by the major news outlets across the country prior to June 17 it almost appears they were in collusion with this massive scam.

I for one want the answer to this question.

Were most reporters so shallow in understanding that they would write articles that didn't address the source of unworldly huge buy-back payments? Did they not see a parallel in the previous buy-back Ponzi schemes that have all ended in disaster? Why were they not able to see the portending disaster when Galbraith openly admitted the only source of investor payments came from new investors? Is the Attorney General of Iowa really that much smarter than all these reporters, save the ones at Better Farming?

Remember, almost a year of reporting on Pigeon King International consisted of fluff pieces until Better Farming published their article in December.

I have driven by The Pigeon King's farm in Cochrane. If he went bankrupt, it sure does not look like it. He not only bought one farm, but two. He build himself a mansion on one then destroyed the other house on the neighbouring farm. Wouldn't want any close neighbours!!!. How convenient to come and hide here. Shame on you!
