This research is a good use of government`s money. It is a niche market that is important and will continue to grow. Just wondering why the research station did not include Amaranth and Okro in the production trials. This is important because the study by Adekunle,Filson and Sethuratnam (University of Guelph) ranks these vegetables as very important.

is the flushing noise of government dollars going down the tubes to conduct research that is not viable within the province. Perhaps they should have talked with growers already doing identical farming throughout the province. What, didn't know it was being done already? With markets already brimming with competition? Especially for the GTA? Shoulda asked.
