Federal provincial agriculture ministers’ annual roundtable generates recognition that the risk management program isn’t working, funds for flooded-out Prairie farmers and pilot projects for interprovincial trade

Where is the Competitive Price Protection program?

So, let’s see if I got this straight.
A few years back the Federal Conservatives admitted the CAIS margin program didn’t work and replaced it with the mini Son of CAIS called Agristability which they have finally admit is not working either.
Unfortunately, instead of fixing the inherent lack of price protection within margin programs in general with competitive linked regional price protection companion programs similar to the new U.S. Farm Bill programs, their solution is to develop new markets so that we can sell for even less in those same new global marketplaces with no competitive price protection.

AAARRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGG

double aaaarrrggghhhhh

developing new markets wouldn't be so bad if dairy and poultry producers had to live by the same "export or die" principle.

Yaaa Pretty much ... like

Yaaa Pretty much ... like running in the sh*t until you loose your boots Then keep running so as not too look too stupid until the sh*t is up to your piehole.
