Livestock farmers looking to meet nutrient management requirements is a key factor driving demand

Time will tell

i guess that last comment means one less person bidding/ and that's GOOD............

the real truth is that no one can afford to buy farmland except the wealthy.......that's the real truth!

farm land price increases - phooey!!!!!!!!

yet, everyone is studiously ingoring the warnings from Professor George Brinkman that Canadian agriculture is in a bubble, and that farm land prices, like a tree, aren't going to grow forever.

The last time we saw this sort of unbridled optimism, was in 1980, just before land prices collapsed by 50%.

It remains to be seen who's the greater fool - the analysts for predicting land prices are going to stay strong, or farmers, and lenders, for believing it.

We farmed through that time.

We farmed through that time. Purchases more land, watched prices go rom <$1000 per acre 1980 to $5000 plus today.Plus we grew crops at a profit most years.
How's you nortel stock doing???
