I feel Mr. Robertson's pain.

Even though the Act won't allow the NFU to opt out of the fee increase, all is not lost. They can simply cut a cheque to each of their newly signed up members for $45, the amount of the increase. There is nothing in the act about that and I'm sure NFU members would be most appreciative.

Mr. Robertson's claim that it would "cost too much" to send $45 back to NFU members, is a compelling portrait of the "crocodile tears" operating style of the NFU itself.
