RMP to pay out on canola and soybeans Tuesday, May 29, 2012 by SUSAN MANNEligible farmers participating in the grains and oilseeds Risk Management program can expect to receive a payment on canola and soybeans next month as Agricorp recently released post harvest market prices for the 2011 program.Agricorp spokesperson Stephanie Charest says for every year there’s two payment periods. The payment period for pre harvest was done in November 2011 while the post harvest payment is being done in June.All crops were covered at 100 per cent in 2011. Charest says they don’t know yet how many eligible producers will receive payments. But the money will go out in early June.
