Tom Black has been named interim president of the Ontario Landowners Association following the resignation of Deb Madill.
Madill, whose resignation was announced May 11, will remain involved with the landowners' local chapter in Muskoka.
Black, past president of the chapter in Carleton County and current vice-president of the OLA, said Thursday he has not decided whether run for presidency when his interim term is up in October.
According to its website, the organization has 22 chapters across Ontario and fights for property owner rights.
Madill's resignation was effective May 9. BF
