The $1.1 billion damage is a cumulative total since 2008. It is per year.

Your clarification didn't, unfortunately, clarify anything - what does the $1.1 billion represent, the yearly damage, or the cumulative damage? And, with respect, federal ag Minister, Gerry Ritz, would be a lot-more helpful to your cause if he would stop poking a stick in the eye of the Americans by refusing to budge on our Gross National Stupidity known as supply management, and the trade restrictions it imposes on the US. Who can blame the US for being intransigent about taking our meats when we are so-obstinately one-sided about dairy and poultry products?
